RRB ALP CEN 01/2026 selection has five stages: CBT-1 (screening), CBT-2, Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification and Medical Examination.
CBT-1 Exam Pattern (Screening)
75 multiple-choice questions, 60 minutes, with 1/3 negative marking. CBT-1 marks are not counted in the final panel.

CBT-2
CBT-2 has two parts. Part-A covers Mathematics, Reasoning and Basic Science & Engineering; Part-B is trade-specific (qualifying). The final merit is prepared from CBT-2 Part-A (50%) and CBAT (50%).

General Science: Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences up to Class 10 level.
